Alma Alpaca
We sell a collection of accessories that are handmade from alpaca wool. The items are made by a fabulous couple – Maxima and Renaldo – who I met whilst living in Bolivia. They run a small family business in La Paz and use traditional handlooms to weave each piece with love and attention to detail.
Alpaca wool is renowned for its softness and strength and contains no lanolin, a known allergen that gives wool that ‘prickly’ feel.

4F (Ilford) Squadron Air Cadets
Are you up for fun, adventure, incredible experiences and making new friends? Are you looking for something to give you the edge in life? Then welcome to the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO). Better known as the 'Air Cadets', we’re part of a UK-wide cadet force with more than 40,000 members aged between 13 and 20 years.
4F Squadron is one of the original founding squadrons of the Air Cadets and has been located in the Ilford area for over 70 years.
As a cadet you'll have the opportunity to do things that others only dream about. Want real flight experience? No problem. How about heading out on adventurous training and camps, sometimes overseas? Normal for cadets. Competitive sports, drill, shooting, music, abseiling, engineering projects? Our list of activities is long, varied and open to all cadets. Yes it's a challenge, but that's what life's all about.
Don't worry about being thrown in at the deep end. You’ll join 4F as a trial, when you get to know the other cadets and start basic training. You then get gradually introduced to activities as you progress, so you can make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.
Cadet life is about learning through practical experience, especially in the great outdoors! Join 4F and here's a taster of what's in store:
• Camping - Work on your survival skills and learn your strengths in a team.
• Easter/summer camps - As you advance in rank you can take part in these popular camps held at RAF stations around the UK.
• Overseas camps - Spend 10 days in Cyprus with fantastic weather, swimming, sailing, and maybe even see the Red Arrows practise their displays (they train there). Head to Germany where you'll visit a city or cemetery from the First and Second World Wars. You may even get to fly in helicopters - another exciting possibility for cadets.
• Adventurous training - A huge part of cadet training. We have two centres, at Windermere in the Lake District and Llanbedr in coastal Wales, both with stunning scenery. Rock climbing, abseiling, highlevel hill walking, mountain-biking, canoeing, high rope work and sailing are all par for the course.
• DofE Award – 4F are proud to have a large number of cadets participate in the DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) Award every year. This award inspires our cadets, guides and supports them in their self-development, and recognise their achievements'. Flying is central to our purpose and your cadet experience. You'll have loads of opportunities to take to the skies:
• Gliding - Soar to success! There are fantastic opportunities to glide while you are a cadet, with the ultimate goal being a solo flight. Training is in three stages: a Gliding Induction Course (GIC), Gliding Scholarship (GS) and Advanced Gliding Training (AGT).
• Air Experience Flights - Feel the thrill of powered flight, with a fully qualified pilot to guide you through taking control of the aircraft yourself. Not only have the opportunity to learn about the flying controls but you’ll experience aerobatics and low level flying too.
• Air Cadet Pilot Scheme - The pinnacle of flying as a cadet, for advanced handling. Complete this successfully and you'll be awarded your cadet pilot wings. And if you do exceptionally well you could be recommended for further training which will help towards your Private Pilot's Licence!
With all this up for grabs, why wait...

Forest Recycling -Give or Take stall
Give or Take days are money free events that promote reuse and at the same time encourage community exchange and environmental consideration.
The Give or Take initiative is an alternative to unnecessary landfill and provides those on a low income with access to household goods like kitchenware, tested electrical items, toys, books and furniture. The events are a great chance for people to get together, have fun, share knowledge, get rid of unwanted goods and save some money by taking home something they need, for free!
The first Give or Take was held by The Forest Recycling Project in 1999 inspired by successful recycling initiatives in other countries. The idea has now become a national phenomenon and as more people get involved its positive momentum continues. At each Give or Take event an estimated 2 tonnes are saved from landfill.

With fourteen paid staff and 9 volunteers, IMECE provides advice and guidance on welfare rights and income maximisation, domestic violence crises intervention and floating support, counselling, outreach and parenting support for women with children, research, campaign and training for practitioners and BMER communities.
IMECE is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
In 1982, women came together to stand against discrimination based on gender and ethnicity. These women formed a group to provide services to address the needs of Turkish speaking women living in London. Over the years IMECE has become independent, professional and powerful, supporting over five thousand women every year. Today it is a specialist women’s organisation running partnership projects and campaigns with other women’s organisation across Britain and Europe.

Kids Bee Happy
Our Magic Sand Painting is an activity for children. It appeals to both boys and girls, and a much wider age range than a lot of other children’s activities.
A picture is precut into a card (A4 & A5 sizes), covered with sticky adhesive, all you do is peel back sections of the paper and sprinkle the coloured sand over the card. It takes between 20-30 minutes for the children to make a picture full of sand and when they’ve finished we laminate it so that they have something that they can take home and keep.

Little Kickers
At Little Kickers the focus is very much on fun – a national network of informal yet professionally run training classes where enthusiastic boys and girls (18 mths – 7th birthday) are given a helping hand to stand on their own two feet.
Of course we believe that a head start in sport is a fantastic investment in the future and naturally we’d be as pleased as punch if any of our former pupils go on to greater glories in the golden game.
However Little Kickers is not a guaranteed passport to football fame!
The real goal of Little Kickers is to use football as a fun forum to instil our growing squad with a little extra confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie; which we feel will stand them in very good stead for the future.

Riverford Organic Vegetables
Guy Watson started growing organic veg in 1986 on his family farm in Devon and set up the vegbox scheme in 1993, delivering to 20 local friends and families. As demand grew, the challenge was to find a way of embracing it whilst sticking to what the vegbox scheme was all about – local growing and employment and a friendly, personal service.
The solution was to find other farmers who shared our ethos. We now have 4 Riverford farms, all growing, packing and delivering vegboxes locally (the original farm in Devon, plus Hampshire, Cambridgeshire and Yorkshire).
Between the 5 sister farms we now cover most of England and South Wales and deliver around 47,000 vegboxes each week.
Our vegboxes are on average 20% cheaper than supermarket organic veg.
Customers cite “freshness and flavour” as the main reason for buying from us.
Every week we give customers 8 seasonal recipes in a newsletter in their vegbox to help them use up every last leek.
We also offer a range of organic meatboxes, eggs, milk, bread and more.
In 2005 we opened the critically acclaimed Riverford Field Kitchen restaurant on our farm in Devon, with Jane Baxter as Head Chef.
In 2008 we published our first book, the Riverford Farm Cook Book, a mixture of farming tales and seasonal recipes co-written by Guy Watson and Jane Baxter.
In 2010 we launched our “Riverford Cooks” campaign to inspire people to cook from scratch using a vegbox. Riverford Cooks work in their local communities on everything from cooking lunches in people’s homes through to public cookery workshops and demos.
In Summer 2010 we took a travelling version of our Field Kitchen restaurant on tour in a giant yurt, serving up freshly-cooked seasonal produce in fields around the country.
We now also have a farm in the Vendée region of France, where we grow crops to fill our vegboxes during the British ‘hungry gap’ in late spring. Trucking them to the UK is roughly the same distance as travelling from the Fens to Devon.
In May 2011 we published our second cook book, Everyday & Sunday, which has seasonal recipes organised month-by-month, with the aim of getting the nation confident at cooking with seasonal food.

SLR Investment Consultants Limited
SLR Investment Consultants Ltd specialise in ethical investments for pension planning which will benefit our planet and future generations.
We always support Teak farming in Brazil to protect the Brazilian rainforests where our clients will help fund the project by leasing land in the plantations and earning income from the sale of the teak as it is farmed. For every tree ‘thinned’ another is planted, such as eucalyptus, in a separate plantation.

We always support Teak farming in Brazil to protect the Brazilian rainforests where our clients will help fund the project by leasing land in the plantations and earning income from the sale of the teak as it is farmed. For every tree ‘thinned’ another is planted, such as eucalyptus, in a separate plantation.
We are always looking for more ethical investments to offer our clients.

Volunteer Centre Redbridge
Volunteer’s Week 1-7th June 2012 is a great time to consider volunteering and finding new ways to get involved with the Redbridge community. If you live in Redbridge and want to find out more about volunteering, then Volunteer Centre Redbridge can help.
We offer a friendly welcome and can provide one-to-one confidential guidance to help you identify the volunteering opportunity that best fits with your interests, availability and skills. We can also help you to complete application forms for volunteering roles.
We will be on-site at Redbridge Green Fair to talk to anyone interested in volunteering in the borough and beyond. We have lots of information about organisations that are recruiting volunteers right now and can book places for people, who are new to volunteering, on one of our interactive pre-volunteering workshops.
