Mini Green Fair and Midsummer Music Fest in Barkingside 2017

We were going to have music playing all day on Saturday 24 June at the Midsummer Music Fest (with Redbridge Music Lounge), so why not try out a mini green fair in an under -used beautiful Town Square?

We brought in 8 stalls, fab community artist Darcy Turner and some other bits and bobs and had a great time.  It was a bit of a pilot to test out the issues before the Barkingside Festival for Independent Retail Day on 4th July.  We were the first community group to run an event on a bigger scale than the Music Fest,  which we'd run in partnership with Redbridge Music Lounge for 2 previous midsummer celebrations.​
