-Toronto Road Arts Festival 2015- celebrating local talent and open-hearted neighbours

On Saturday 12 September, the Redbridge Green Fair partnered with Toronto Road neighbours for the 2nd time to bring a green arts festival to an unassuming street. Green because the resources and helpers were mainly all from the Commonwealth Estate, so a local, low carbon footprint, high community impact day!

It started with street decorating, and then all sorts of art and crafts... parades... food offered by neighbours... painting... zumba... stories... drama... green construction... red carpet photoshoot...  facepainting... chatting... running around... chalking...And it ended with an outdoor cinema showing of Mama Mia.

We will  try and load the video soon.   Toronto Road, between Auckland Road and Coventry road in Ilford, has just 30 homes and nearly everyone got involved.   The Redbridge Green Fair is proud to have pulled this event off for a 2nd time with a small budget.
