Poetry Workshop

Nuala Flynn is a psychotherapist and artist in Leytonstone, who attended secondary school in Ilford.

She designed the Green Man mosaic next to what used to be the Green Man Pub  (O’Neills) at the Green Man roundabout in Leytonstone. (see nualaflynn.wordpress.com/green-man)

She works with dreams as a psychological healing and creative resource.  The language of dreams is a poetic metaphorical language.

She will be reading poems of  Denise Levertov,  considered one of America’s great poets,  who’s poetry is political, spiritual and ecological - who was born in Ilford - where her imagination flowered!  Also of Kathleen Raine,  poet and great scholar - also born in Ilford.

This will be taking place at 3:00pm in the Workshop Tent.
