Eco Fashion - recycle with style!Come along to our open air Eco Fashion show at the Green Fair this year. Create bespoke costumes out of recycled materials during the workshops run by the professional fashion artists. Join the parade on our catwalk later in the day.
Adults, children and young people can all join in to produce fabulous outfits from recycled materials. You can use plastic bags, paper, old clothing, textiles and lots more to create a brand new style. There will plenty of materials provided or you can bring your own stuff to give it a new life! If you can’t participate in the design workshops, you are welcome to make your costume at home from recycled items and come along to enter it into the Fashion show Prizes will be awarded for the best recycled costumes and garment designs. |

About Caramel Rock
Caramel Rock runs an Outreach Programme focusing on high end fashion which is geared towards those trying to gain industry knowledge within fashion from work experience to weekly fashion classes, helping the community and working with students from primary and secondary schools.
We organise trips to exhibitions, art galleries and museums for students to gain different research media and those who have a deprived home style to experience these opportunities. In addition to these day trips we also organise camping trips. Here, the idea is for students to bond and for staff to engage with the students in order to help develop them as individuals. |
Throughout the year we run sessions where students will design and make a collection of garments along with building up a portfolio. The garments are later showcased in our fashion shows which are held twice a year, organised by staff and students. We develop a number of relationships where we are invited to events such as exhibitions and fashion shows. We collaborate with a variety of popular, up and coming stylists, make-up artists, hairstylists, modelling agencies, and magazines.
Our products are expensive because the revenue raised goes towards purchasing new materials for future products and the necessary resources required to fund the charity. The purpose of this brand is to help others and give back to the community.
