The Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest is based on the popular Fete de la Musique which was started in France in 1982 and has now spread throughout Europe and beyond. In the spirit of the Fete de la Musique, the Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest is a celebration of live music and provides a platform that allows amateur and professional musicians, playing in a wide variety of styles to perform in the community, for local people for free.
Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest returns for its 7th annual weekend festival of diverse styles of FREE live music on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2009! The weekend is organised by volunteers from the Redbridge Green Fair Association who are eternally grateful to all the musicians who play at no charge in our annual celebration of live music.
