Redbridge Green Fair Live Music Club

Our Live Music Club continues  in the bar of Ilford Sports & Social Club, at the Cricklefield Stadium in Ilford High Road, behind the old swimming pool. The programme provides a host of class acts as well as offering a platform for some of the brightest and best new young talent, especially from the local area.

Thanks to all of you who supported our opening Acoustic Zone night at the RAFA club last Friday. Everyone there told us how much they enjoyed Playing Rapunzel and Mike 'Dr Blue' McKeon, and the venue. We'll be back there on 30 November with two more excellent acts, The Raven and Nick Pickett, and that will become our regular second venue every month!

Robin Grey
Robin Grey's last visit to the club as a support act drew such a positive reaction from the audience that we just had to have him back as our headline act. His songs, his voice, his accompanying musicians and his whole presentation should not be missed. We look forward to hearing a selection from his first three albums, and hope to hear news of a new cd too. You may have caught his lovely performance at the re-opening of Ilford Library back in July too, but if you haven't seen him yet this will be a real treat. Peppercorn Rent
Peppercorn Rent promise to be a really interesting addition to our club guest list. With 6 musicians and a tempting selection of acoustic instruments including guitar, violin, melodeon, trumpet, sax and voices, and the offer of an alt country, rock, blues & folk set, we can't wait to see them perform for the first time at one of our events! Ryan Green
Ryan Green's accomplished sets of pop and rock covers continually earn him more fans, and he proved to be one of the most popular performers during the 15 day Active Ilford live music sessions in Ilford Town Centre during the Olympic summer, as well as many other summer festivals.
